Common Questions
FAQ
What safety protocols do you follow during in-home visits?
During in-home visits, I prioritize your safety by practicing proper hand hygiene and respecting your household preferences around contact and masking. I stay up to date on all recommended vaccines, monitor my health closely, and will reschedule if I'm feeling unwell to ensure a safe, supportive environment for you and your family.
What are your qualifications?
I am a trained and insured Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) through Newborn Care Solutions Institute. My training includes newborn care, lactation support, and emotional wellness, and I regularly pursue continuing education to stay current on best practices in maternal and infant health. In addition to NCS, I am also CPR-certified through American Red Cross.
Why In-Home training instead of virtual?
In-home training offers hands-on, personalized support that simply isn’t possible through a screen. Being in your space allows me to tailor guidance to your real-life environment. Whether that’s helping you set up a diaper station, practice soothing techniques with your baby, or work through feeding challenges in real time. It also creates a more relaxed, confident learning experience where you can ask questions and get immediate, practical feedback.
How many revisions are included in registry consulting service?
There’s no set limit on the number of revisions included in my registry consulting service. My priority is making sure you feel confident and happy with your final list. I’m here to work with you until your registry truly fits your lifestyle, preferences, and needs.
Can I leave the house while you are tending to my baby?
Yes, you’re welcome to leave the house while I care for your baby, as long as you feel comfortable. As a trained infant care specialist, your baby’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. Whether you need rest, errands, or a little personal time, you can trust that your little one is in capable, loving hands.
